Here is a typical complication from fillers, swelling (edema) of the lower eyelid.

Is this really possible?
The answer is no.

PDO threads are an aesthetic treatment that, as such, does not change the shape of the eye in a lasting way.

The initial lifting effect and inclination of the eyelid skin towards the temple. – due to the tightening of the PDO wires immediately after the treatment – has a very short life!
Already after 2/3 weeks the effect disappears: in fact, pre and post photos are always taken immediately after the treatment and never after months.

Therefore, if a patient wants a Fox eyes effect, I do not recommend this procedure!

Alessia had significant edema, with consequent swelling, on both lower eyelids.

The solution for these complications is often represented by the hyaluronidase antidote to hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronidase is a valid, safe and effective treatment;

Many patients who have dull and apparently tired eyes tend to think they need upper blepharoplasty.
Just focusing on this surgery as a procedure aimed at improving the upper eyelids is not enough.
For example, those who suffer from drooping eyelid also have a mild eyelid ptosis which is often not recognized.
In my experience, combining ptosis with blepharoplasty means that the eyelid is rebuilt in order to obtain more natural and lasting results

A beautiful face is usually associated with the symmetry of its forms. For this reason, an asymmetrical visage is wrongly considered unpleasant.
In my opinion, a lightly asymmetrical face is exactly what makes us more attractive and unique.
With these images I show you why the concept of symmetry is not always synonymous of beauty.

Not all dark circles can be 100% eliminated with a filler treatment, especially for hyper pigmented dark circles.
In this patient, for example, you can see the maximum benefit of the treatment of a hyper pigmented eye (75% of improvement).
