WHAT ARE THE SOCKED EYES?

When it comes to sunken eyes, the cause can be identified in the upper eyelid which does not have the proper support provided by the fatty tissue. In much less quantity than an ideal condition, the lack of fat deprives the upper eyelid of the volumes necessary for the overall harmony of the face.

The result is an aging look that never reflects the patient’s true state of mind.

Patients turn to the oculoplastic surgeon:

  • Because they complain of a tired, depressed and aged look due to sunken eyes.
  • Because they find it difficult to camouflage the sunken eye with make-up
  • Because a slightly harmonic upper eyelid generates social discomfort and embarrassment in them.
  • Because they no longer recognize each other by looking in the mirror and in the photos, where they do not find the desired look.

“Each patient will be directed and advised towards the most appropriate and cutting-edge aesthetic medicine practices, according to the most updated guidelines of the international surgical associations.”

WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON CAUSES OF SOCKED EYES:

Among the most common causes of sunken eyes, we find:

  • Genetic predisposition
  • Dehydration
  • Weight loss
  • Facial trauma with orbital fracture
  • Enophthalmos
  • Aging

WHAT IS AESTHETIC MEDICINE TREATMENT FOR CORRECTION OF SOCKED EYES?

microcannula

To treat sunken eyes, small injections are performed on the upper eyelids, using an innovative technique that involves the use of a micro-cannula, in order to minimize the risk of hematomas and pain.

The new tool of flexible microcannulas allows to considerably reduce the number of injections necessary for the treatment: once introduced under the skin, the flexible microcannulas can be directed and allow, thanks to a targeted distribution of the product, to sculpt the volumes of the upper eyelid with extreme precision.

Discomfort during facial treatment is minimal and post-treatment swelling and bruising are also reduced. The treatment is carried out in the clinic and lasts 30-40 minutes. The surgeon practices a few entry holes on the upper eyelid with the needle and then inserts the microcannulas.

The soft material and the rounded tip of the flexible cannulas are delicate on fabrics and capillaries, avoiding trauma. After the facial treatment, you can immediately resume your activities.

This new technique brings numerous advantages:

  • allows to practice few injections;
  • discomfort in the face during treatment is reduced to a minimum;
  • already after treatment it is possible to return to normal daily life.

The final effect is an important rejuvenation of the upper eyelids and face, which does not upset the general features.

“The chosen treatment is individualized and personalized, in order to respect the patient’s expectations, the harmony of the look and the proportions of the entire face.”

WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE TO ELIMINATE THIS EYE PROBLEM?

The surgery is able to give balanced shape and proportions to the upper eyelid, which in this way will find its harmony with the rest of the face.

The result is a rejuvenation of the look and face, respecting the proportions and ensuring naturalness and harmony of the look. The tired and prematurely senile aspect is corrected, and the patient regains a young and vital look.

Many patients report greater ease in putting makeup on the eye area following treatment.
