WHAT ARE EYE BAGS?
When we speak about the eye bags, we mean the presence of adipose or fat tissue protruding out of its natural seat. It is kept in its position by the eye socket septum and by the orbicular muscle, but the loss of muscle tone of those structures causes the protrusion of the fat and appearance of the bags under eyes.
The result is an unnatural puffiness, more often of the lower eyelids, which makes the gaze heavier and the face look older.
The patients turn to an oculoplasty surgeon:

WHAT DOES THE EYE BAGS SURGERY CONSIST OF?
To treat the eyelid bags, the small injections are practiced to below them, by means of an innovative technique that involves the use of a micro-cannula, so as to minimize the risk of hematoma and pain.
The mini-invasive non-surgical treatments with fillers (RADIESSE®: Calcium Hydroxyapatite, REDENSITY II®: a specific hyaluronic acid for eyelids) attenuate the insightly bags under the eyes. The filling of the tissues below the eyes reduces the visibility of the bags because it determines a gradual transition between the lower eyelid and the cheekbone.
