Listen to what I think of the combined approach of multiple interventions in the region of the gaze and the temporal area.

Our philosophy is not to work on abstract beauty that would result impersonal losing individuality, rather on the desire expressed by the patient himself, but even more on the emotional impact that binds the patient to the world of well-being.

Excavated temples and loss of tonicity of the eyelid elevator muscle help make the whole face look more tired.
Thanks to the a combination of surgical correction of blepharoptosis + filling (hyaluronic acid-based filler or lipofilling) of the temporal area, it is possible to regain the natural freshness of your gaze.

On the first visit Jessica asked me for a blepharoplasty, I explained to her that blepharoplasty alone wouldn’t give her the right vivacity of gaze.
That’s why we decided together to combine a blepharoptosis surgery with the filling of his temples that had emptied over time.
The effectiveness of blepharoptosis surgery, amplified by the combination with filler in the temples, has given the face a natural and harmonious look.

One of the main concerns of patients undergoing blepharoptosis surgery is postoperative recovery. Thanks to the advanced techniques I use, the recovery after this surgery is notably fast and in 98% of cases there are no bruises.

Marco could no longer find his incisiveness of gaze.
At the first meeting he was very clear with me: Doctor I don’t want to look younger, rather I want to find my gaze again.
After a blepharoptosis surgery, however, the eyelid was precisely lifted through a combination of blepharoplasty and ptosis correction, which helped restore visual function and give the face a fresher look.

Often those who decide to undergo adulthood blepharoplasty (60-80) don’t do it just to look younger rather to find that freshness of gaze that has been lost with time.
To achieve this result I almost never perform a simple blepharoplasty but I combine multiple interventions for an effective and natural result.

To treat eyelid bags, without surgery, injections of hyaluronic acid are given underneath them.
As we see in the case of Marta, the final effect is an overall rejuvenation of the eyelids and face, which does not distort her general features.
The generation fillers are injected through a micro-cannula, in order to minimize the risk of hematomas, resulting in painlessness.

In Marta’s case, the loss of medium face volume has resulted in pronounced bags under the eyes, which give her a tired and lackluster look. In the next post, we will see how it was possible to intervene.

The loss of subcutaneous fat is responsible for the aggravation of the bags under the eyes which will therefore appear more pronounced.
Fortunately, it is possible to intervene on these blemishes even without the use of a scalpel – through the use of hyaluronic acid fillers.

I often see patients following facial paresis who complain of severe discomfort caused by major asymmetries of the gaze region + hyperlacrimation.
Botox plays a very important role in restoring the natural harmony of the gaze.

It is no longer news: the use of botox has grown exponentially not only in the world of aesthetic medicine.
Thanks to targeted injections in the gaze region, it is possible to correct important eyelid asymmetries by acting on the nerve endings responsible for the contraction of the facial and orbicular muscles.

Elena, following a facial paresis, no longer recognized his gaze: one eye smaller than the other and hollow upper eyelids.
Thanks to particular botulinum injections Elena has achieved a natural symmetry of gaze.

There are several surgical techniques that allow the correction of congenital ptosis based on the residual function of the elevator muscle.
The shortening of the elevator muscle is aimed at opening the closed eye.
In cases where the elevator muscle of the eyelid is so deficient that it cannot be boosted, the frontal muscle is suspended.

Kevin wanted to arrive at his wedding with a more harmonious look.
We are faced with a clear asymmetry of the gaze caused by a pronounced ptosis of the right eye.
Thanks to a targeted intervention, I was able to give Kevin a look that was no longer tired, but lively and energetic while always respecting the overall image of his face.

I often meet men with eyelid ptosis present since birth who decide to improve the aesthetics of their gaze in adulthood.
My favorite correction is resection of the elevator muscle to achieve the most effective and natural result possible.

The improvement of a surgical complication varies from patient to patient: certainly cantoplasty alone is not enough to resolve the palpebral malposition.
Among the techniques I prefer to reposition the eyelids there are the malar lifting, grafts, lipostructure and cantoplasty that match depending on the clinical case.

We all want to improve the imperfections of the eye region quickly and painlessly with hyaluronic acid based fillers
To avoid complications from fillers I always advise my patients to: – Do not completely correct dark circles, bags in one sitting. Rather in two steps. – Do not undergo too many treatments (>3) in a short period of time (3-6 months)

After forty years, the eyelids and skin of the face tend to lose their natural support. The dark circles and periocular wrinkles appear more evident.
By selecting the right patients and using the most suitable hyaluronic acids it is possible to solve many of these imperfections safely.
In my daily practice 30% of the treatments I perform are on men between the ages of 35 and 45.

In dealing with a pediatric case, I never neglect the technical preparation of the whole team or the emotional component, and the impact that surgery can have on both my little patient and his family.
For this reason, it is important for me to create a serene environment where everyone involved feels comfortable.
The child lives the experience of the intervention with serenity, followed in every step by a team of great experience with pediatric users and professionalism.

The epiblefaron consists of a horizontal skin fold of lower eyelid tissue, which rotates the lashes inward by coming into contact with the cornea.
Congenital epiblepharon is more frequent in Asian populations and in most cases it resolves spontaneously.
When this doesn’t happen, surgery is necessary.

Malai had congenital epiblepharon which caused her a foreign body sensation, irritation and epiphora – excessive tearing.
In my experience, epiblefaron improves considerably in the first years of life.
For Malai it wasn’t like this and therefore it was necessary to rebuild the lower eyelid crease to correct the defect and restore serenity.
